Breathtaking sunsets make the close of the weekend bearable.
R Enterprises is happy to add this new section to our site and welcome our Boating hostess Karen Alexander.

Karen Alexander is a native “River Rat” from Southeast Louisiana.  She currently resides with her husband, Ward, and son, Lewis, in Northwest Georgia.  She happily serves as First Mate aboard Triple Kiss, their Carver Express Cruiser that they keep on Lake Allatoona.

If you’re a boater you know the definition of Boat-Time.  You may have a different name for it, but it means the same thing.  Time ceases to exist on a pleasure boat.  There are no clocks and no schedules. You instinctively know when it’s time to put on more sunscreen, time to have another beverage, time to fish, time to go to the fuel dock or pump-out station.  But beyond that, time doesn’t matter.

My husband and I are singular in our quest for Boat-Time.  It seems everything we do is ultimately driven by our desire for Boat-Time.  We work for Boat-Time, sacrifice for Boat-Time, and plan for Boat-Time.  When Friday finally comes around, we are packed and provisioned for at least two days of Boat-Time. Which, as you know, is never enough.

Since the Webmaster finally relented to my badgering, this page will be devoted to boating. We’ll have pictures, tips, and interesting stories.  If you carry pictures of your boat in your wallet, then you are obviously an intelligent person with ordered priorities and we want to hear from you. Send us your favorite boating pictures, stories, & tips.

In the meantime….

Safe Boating!

Did you know?

Before fueling a boat with a built-in fuel tank, you should close all portholes, doors, and hatches.
